Nice experience going on a . Boat... The glass bottom is a gimmick as you are lucky if you can see anything from there... They could enforce the social distancing and mask wearing better than just announcing it. As some people refuse to wear anything... But it was a fun trip out... Thanks...

When visiting Hout Bay, you can consider any one of the island cruises available. You can book on the spot. Prices from R90 for an hour cruise around Chapman's peak and seal island. The boat ride itself wasn't too rough, so, luckily no one suffered from sea sickness. Boats are all safe, even though lifejackets aren't compulsory. Take your own beverages and snacks. And don't forget sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. The views are amazing and great value for money. A fun and adventurous activity for the whole family.
Can't go on seal island cruise boat because sea was very rough. But enjoy the long drive
Apart from the fish smell very nice place, bt one can expect it due to the location.
Had a great trip out to the island. The weather was cool. The sea not rough. Good value for money if you want to go on the water for 45 mins.
This is a must do trip if you are in Houtbay area R90 per adult. Easy booking, even got a phone call to confirm. One hour , casual cruise to go and see seals at Danger point. Friendly staff, plenty safe parking. Really enjoyed, nice family outing..
One hour trip to the seal island with spectacular views of Houtbay to enjoy with the whole family
The boat trip on Saturday was phenomenal, I wish it was longer than 45 minutes though. I love how you can enjoy the smell of the sea water, while having a beer, and actually see LIVE seals just basking in the sun and most of them trying to do dolphin tricks to put up a show.
