My wife bought a brand new Hyundai i20 3 years ago and she bought a service plan as well...and now the car was meant to go for a service at 45,000 and she got too busy to book the service. The service plan was for 60,000 or as she learnt today, 60,000 km or 3 years. As you know women are never too good at these technical things. She called Hyundai today after my reminder about the service and was told that her service plan lapsed on the 31st of August, the 3 year anniversary of the car; that's last Friday!!!. I don't understand why Hyundai doesn't keep records of their clients to remind them that they are about to reach the 3 year mark and should service their vehicle. I didn't buy a service plan but Subaru texted me and called me to remind me that my car was due for a service according to their records. Poor piece of service from Hyundai, especially to clients who buy new cars with a service plan...️
