Came all the way from Stellenbosch today only to find your shop closed within apparent trading hours for Satirdays as so advertised on door (9H00 to 18h00 Monday-Saturday). You don't mention anywhere (internet, instagram & website) that the shop is closed on a public holiday. Not impressed!

Perfect stop for a good Italian cappuccino out of the crowds. I get my parmesan and other cheeses, coffee and Italian cold meats there! Not to mention the fresh pasta. Staff is super dooper.

This eatery deserves fervent support. It opened during lockdown, and has survived bravely so far. The deli is lovely - every lover of Italian cuisine should know about its existence (essential for sourcing the genuine ingredients, when you want your dishes to taste as if they were cooked by an Italian mama from the hinterland of, say, Tuscany). Our first taste was of the pastas, and over a period of four weeks we've been back as many times (and more, but twice found the place closed) with tongues hanging out for the next delightful experience. The Carbonara particularly, as prepared by the owner himself, is nothing short of culinary genius. Seating is under canvas cover (and if I were to complain of anything, it's that in this regard a little more finesse would be a good thing). Do call before you go, to ensure the place is open when you get there. But DO go. Give yourself a wonderful treat, you deserve it! And afterwards recommend it to all your friends - this deli/restaurant is truly a find.
