Definitely my favourite place at the V&A Waterfront. Besides the yummy oysters, the staff is one of the reasons I'm constantly visiting the shop. Excellent service.

The Knysna Oyster Company at the V&A Food Market is THE BOMB. Excellent quality oysters and we had to return multiple times during our trip to Cape Town because it was SO GOOD. If you want good oysters without the fuss in Cape Town, this is the place to go. I've had the ones fresh in Knysna, and these are as good!

Perfect experience. Ten seats available at the bar. We got the 12 large oysters and got a bottle of champagne. Service was quick and friendly. The oysters were amazing and fresh. They have other hot food too. Like prawns and rice, mussels and sauce. Highly recommend. They have vouchers on hyperli!

One of our favorite places to get oysters, it's a really lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and oysters. They also do a lively menu of other dishes and the prices are really affordable. The staff is helpful and we didn't wait long for our food. The vibe was relaxed and the quality is consistent.

Simple oyster bar that specialises in oysters freshly shucked in front of you. The bar sells oysters by size, and the staff recommended the medium ones to me. The dozen oysters I had varied a bit in freshness but overall it was good for the cost. The lemon that I got with the plate was a bit too dry to get much juice out of, but they do offer other condiments such as tabasco sauce. You are also able to order wine with your oysters, however they don't sell non-alcoholic beverages if you're trying to stay sober during the day.
