Beautiful and peaceful. The route that goes around instead of up is my favorite. Never too busy, still amazing views
Super pleasant roundtrip hike. Safe parking at Cable Car parking area opposite entrance to trail. Snake sightings a very definite. Wear longs. Beautiful views on a clear day. Benches on the Camps Bay/Sea Point side. Take a picnic and catch some free ozone. Hiking sticks make things easier on the stoney parts as well as the gravelly bits. Safe for groups, walkers or runners. No cycling on this one.
Best sunset hike! Such awesome views from the top. It's an easy hike, so you don't need to be super fit.
This is a must-do activity when visiting Cape Town. You can get to the top as quickly as 40 minutes following the shorter, more technical route, which includes staples, chains and ladders. There is also a slightly longer, less technical route which takes you to the top between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes. The trail is maintained very well and you don't have to be super fit do get to the top using either of the routes. Regardless of the route you choose, the views, fresh air and connectedness with nature far exceed the little time and effort spent to access it all. Full moon, sunrise and sunset hikes are particularly popular all year round.
Great trails and views. Sunset / sunrise.
A great hike to get a panoramic view of Table Mountain, Cape Town and surrounds. Depending on your fitness level,, it can be moderate to easy with options of two routes to get to the top, the difficult one clambering up chains.
It's amazing every time. The hike and views never get old.
