This is always a good choice to bring your family around for a nice family meal. The prices are affordable as well. They have a dedicated children's play area inside the restaurant as well. They have the most amazing carvery every Sunday from 12:30 to 16:00. They also have a carvery on a Tuesday evening, but because of Covid that is stopped until further notice. It is the only Mike's Kitchen left in the Western Cape. The other Mike's Kitchen's are all up in Johannesburg. I would definitely recommend to all who visit Cape Town to come and dine here.

Old Fashioned themed restaurant. Great specials, good food, and service
Perfect restaurant, home feeling setting... Enjoyed my husband's ribs.. weren't full with the oxtail..... there was less meat... the manager kindly explained how they size their meat portions... Overall good, mouthful tasting food.
Second time we visited the restaurant while on business trips and both times were pleasantly surprised by the quality food served. Waitrons are all friendly and make you feel welcomed. Wish they will bring back their famous steak, egg and chips dish!!
It was a good experience to visit MIKE's Kitchen, but the staff were not that friendly I Really felt unwanted,but anyway, I ordered my Tbone and my wife had 500gm ribs,we finished our meal none of the staff came to check on us whether we enjoying our meal.but I only appreciate the waiters team work.
I haven't been to Mike's kitchen in a very long time but man did I had a food time.did not wait too long for my food and I was super hungry.food delicious.yummy.youll definitely see me again.
