This school was started in 2011 by owner/principal Shafiekah Abrahams after having served as the principal at another Montessori creche that served as a non profit organisation and teacher's training centre for those wishing to learn the Montessori method. She has over 15 years experience as a kindergarten teacher and provides excellent tuition to those placed in her care. Montessori House offers Pre-Primary education as well as aftercare for those working parents. Children are well looked after with education programs in with aftercare. Conveniently situated close to Maitland Railway station and just off Voortrekker Road opposite Pick n Pay, it is easily found.

What a wonderful school, warm, loving, caring environment, professional teachers and principal! School is neat and tidy always adding new equipment and always reaching for the stars! A very beautiful school this is ... it doesn't feel like a school even ,the teachers are so lovely its basically a home away from home I have not yet seen a pre-school with all the equipment a child need it's super cool Anyone who wants their kids to excel in every area in their lives,whether be baking or drawing, I say this is THE BESTTTTTT school and the best gift you can give your baby. We love you Montessori House hoooooo hha hha haa
