It was a great experience from A to Z! The motorbike I was renting (BMW GS700) was great. It exceeded my expectations by far! Communication with Conrad was so easy, trough WhatsApp & mail. Rented a beautiful BMW 1200 from Conrad for a day to see a bit more of this stunning country. Communication was excellent. Bike was fantastic, in super condition and we got a thorough and useful intro to the ins and outs of it before we set off. Would highly recommend CTMR and will use again next time .
The bike was in excellent condition, all transpired as advertised. Conrad was very responsive and helpful with route planning, too. He is very experienced and a runs a reputable firm. Would definitely recommend him.
Best motorcycles
I’ve just returned to Cape Town from a 4,000 km trip across SA on a BMW F700GS that I rented from Conrad at CT Motorcycle Rentals. From the initial enquiry and throughout the entire booking process, Conrad was friendly and efficient. He allowed me to take the bike for a test drive before the trip and even had a windshield installed on the bike on my request. His motorcycles are all in great condition, prices reasonable and I really think you can’t go wrong using his services.
I rented a F700GS from Conrad for three days in December. He was great to communicate with prior to pick-up incl. agreeing what type of tyre would be best suited to my trip, what luggage I want etc. Pick-up was smooth and I got a full explanation of the bike, checked for any existing cosmetic damage etc. I went on a tour to Witsand, then Barrydale and back through the Karoo via Ceres, and the bike was suitably dirty and dusty afterwards... Sorry about that! Returning the bike was a breeze. Conrad is a great no-nonsense guy. I would recommend renting from him to anyone who just wants to get on the road and keep faff to a minimum.
Rented a 700GS for a day whilst in Cape Town. Conrad was very helpful in answering our questions prior to the booking. He also spent time discussing our plans on the morning we collected the bike, helping to make sure we got the best out of our day. The bike was well presented and equipped - clearly looked after properly. Starting the rental in Tokai meant we could head straight for Stellenbosch and onwards without wasting time getting around the mountain first. We wouldn't hesitate to use CTMR again.
If you are looking into renting a bike in the area, call fhem! Conrad helped me very well, and the bike was awesome!
