First fish and chips ever (Yes I know), but growing up my mother was deathly allergic, so it made things difficult. I heard about Ooskus fisheries from a few people casually mentioning them as "the best place for fish and chips" when the topic came up. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. They will definitely see me again. Really worth it.

Quaint roadside fishery with tasteful theme. The family enjoyed the family meal, consisting of 2 fried hake, half chip / half rice, calamari portion, lemon and sauce. We added 5 prawns and buttered rolls to the meal and a calamari wrap on the side. Overall the food was fresh and delicious. I would not recommend the prawns, if you prefer a spicy buttery grilled portion.

Relatively slow service and somewhat overpriced. The fish and batter were quite bland. The interior, although going for a whimsical humourous look, seems cluttered.

My first time coming here. First they forgot to include my snoek that I paid for, then I called and told them about it. They happily agreed for me to fetch it on same day, and took my name and number. Got there after my meal, and they didn’t prepare it!!!

Nice fish and chips. Calamari is real nice with good tasting tartar sauce. However the parcels are over priced at R105 each

The fish could be more flavourful but definitely a great catch. Lovely for lunch or a dinner on a warm evening. The calamari is a highlight and the food isn't badly priced.
