Nice place
Brendan I wholeheartedly agree with you I only bought here in 2001 so I could bring my 2 little dogs and due 2 a vote they changed the constitution to no pets allowed I've just had to have my last little one put down which has left me devistated as I've never been without a dog in my life ever. MOST UNFAIR and descriminatory as there appears to be residents that have been allowed to bring their birds. I don't agree in caging animals or birds.
They should allow for retired persons to have animals. It's simply disgusting not being allowed any pets, no braais when family visit. Are we trying to ensure the elderly enjoy retirement or kill them faster. The frail care is absolutely useless and make me sick. My Granny needed to borrow there tank of oxygen desperately on one occasion, which the Frail Care keep on hand as backup, so we asked and was told "the oxygen tanks are only for people staying in the frail care who rent rooms and not for the retired who own a house. So that was telling me because my Granny paid there rediculous frail care fees, owned her own free standing house inside the retirement village and wasn't renting a disgusting room for R20 000 a month, she was denied borrowing a bit of oxygen. I would never book a Granny in here again, my Granny hated the place and said often that it felt like prison.
Neat and safe
Only downside is food prepared. Not always adequate. Otherwise very good and helpful
Great community for the elderly and retired. Safe and secure with friendly helpful staff
