If you into running or walking, this is the place to do it. Its easily accessible whether it be by car, bus or taxi. It's a super place to hangout with your running buddies on a weekend. Above all, ITS SAFE.

My made me so laugh today at this place. He is only 1year and 5 months. So It was his first time to see a the soil that has in a hips hips. Snap he was really scared and cried he all was thinking his sinking on the sand .....and he was so scared of the fallen down trees ....... at the end of our walk he so an fly he was so excited he didn't want to leave for home. ....

Park runs used to be held here every Saturday morning. The outside of the common is paved and most people either walk or run here. Kids can usually be seen on their bicycles. Scenery around the common can be breathtaking, especially at sunset. A great place to practice your photography skills. Dog lovers are usually out and about here too. More so on the inside of where there are pathways on the open veld. Everyone is usually respectful of each other's space and I have only had positive experiences here.

If you want to go for a run in a safe space, then the common is a great choice. You can also see beautiful views of Devil's Peak.

Lovely place to walk dogs. If they aren't good off the leash I would suggest not letting them loose as the common is not walled in or has not fence so it's easy access to the road if your dog gets loose but if they are good off the lead it's such an amazing walk for them. It's really one of the nicest places to walk with your dog on or off the lead. Not too many people. Really great spot of you love running or walking. Going around the entire common a few times will definitely get you fit and healthy.

It was great to rollerskate on! We meet a few friends there on a Friday evening, it wasn't too crowded and there was sufficient parking near the stretch where we skated. Will definitely go again!
