Do NOT book Kian's Place in Langebaan! Awful experience. A terrible start to the weekend with various additional fees before we could get the key, and then they refused to pay the breakages deposit back because even though there is an R800 cleaning fee (yes, that's right R800 to clean a house, which is not optional) they claimed that the couches needed additional cleaning to the value of R500. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the couches, we hadn't even used the lounge! All this when the accommodation itself was very average and far from the beach.

What a bad experience! We booked at Dana Bay, Paradise Self Catering Villa for the past Easter Weekend. What a disgrace. On the website it advertised as sleeping Max 14 guests and the rate is from R400/day/unit. We paid R800 / day / unit...and they gave us 3 bedrooms for 6 people? The place was in such a disgusting state! The "secure parking" was helarious..hahahahaha. The main gate couldn't even close. The side gate was missing in action? The outside "Braai" was a 40cm dia Weber braai on the front steps to the front door. The kitchen basin was packed with pots and pans...they couldn't even packed it away. The toilet wasn't flushed. The weed and grass outside was "hip-sized"... Why in the world do you advertise a Villa if you are not even aware of how the place looks like in general?
