The best swimming school ever.

Ok never mind- we left the previous swim school due to shocking people skills. Sigh.

After only 2 lessons I've decided that I can't put my kids through such abuse. Those ladies have no business teaching kids if they do not know how to speak to them like human beings. I have never been so upset in my entire life. The young lady in the beginner pool excluded.

Never before have I been so humuliated! Arrived with my son for his swimmimg lesson, with my daughter to assist him. Didn't know that only parents could assist and not a sibling, even if they are 10 years older. But did the owner (Vivienne) shout at me & my children, in front of everyone, children & parents. (HEY, HEY, ONLY PARENTS. CAN YOU SEE ONLY OTHER MOMS & DADS). Not sure how you manage a business with families as your clients if you behave like a savage!! I get your rules but your manners are absolutely shocking! No people skills or manners!! Non-traumatic approach - must be a joke. If there was an option for 0 stars...

If you and your child want to be treated like animals, then I would suggest this swimming school. The three of us (mon, dad and son (7)) eagerly drove all the way from Durbanville to the "best swimming school in the Cape" as noted by another reviewer. The lady at reception told us that my son can go to the pool in the "middle". Being an ordinary kid and excited to start at a new school he went in the pool. Out of the blue, an old, white woman (one of the instructors apparently) started screaming at my son and asked him, in a very rude way, who told him to get in the pool? My poor son got such a fright! I explained to her that this is our first time here, but that was not enough for her. Needless to say I told her she was being rude and unprofessional. No parent will want to see their child get treated like that. I cannot say that the fact that we are Coloured had anything to do with it, since there were other Coloured parents there as well. I immediately cancelled the 8 lessons and another (Coloured) lady was gracious enough to provide a full refund. This was a most distasteful experience which I would not wish on any parent.
