Had such a fantastic dinner experience at Tai Shan yesterday evening. Great sushi at affordable prices. They have a bunch of specials and the platters are great value for money. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. We saw a few regulars being enthusiastically welcomed back. This will be us one day ;) Just a really great vibe and nice evening out.

Clean & Friendly service with such a cosy setting for nice intimate gatherings with friends, family and even just a date night with your partner. I think personally that the food is not too expensive but so delicious for sure. Every meal is individually prepared so you can be sure to receive quality dishes every time. This place does offer takeout options for those wanting to enjoy the good food wherever they like. The waiters & waitresses are so chilled and more than eager to get you just what you like from their menu. The area in which the restaurant is located is safe and so vibrant with young and old people. The only thing that could be an issue is finding parking which is off road from the restaurant. This restaurant is made to cater for those sushi lovers and Thai cuisine lovers. Not too much of options in terms of alcoholic beverages but surely enough options to have a good time out.

Really excellent sushi and starters. We had prawn and chicken spring rolls with Char sui bao and fried dumplings for starters. Succulent and well presented. For mains we had the sit down special. 8 plates for R169. Fantastic value for money. The tempura prawns were lightly and expertly battered and scrumptious. The sushi is much better than Ocean basket (which I love) and the presentation is next level. Review wouldn't be complete without mentioning Alexander. What a young man. Service and attention to detail par excellence. He is an asset to the restaurant and catered to my whims with aplomb. Keep going young man.

My favourite Sushi restaurant! Their presentation is definitely one of a kind. Love the step sushi concept. Their sushi is also super delicious and at such a good price. They offer such a variety of sushi and it’s not limited to just an average California roll, I definitely recommend their tempura prawn and Dragon Flower. Currently offering an 8 plate for R169 special and buy one get one free special. Their staff is also super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend going there.
