The Famous Franschhoek Pancake House has THE most amazing pancakes! It is clear as day that Gideon invests himself into his passion for the pancake house holistically. His good heart, good service and good pancakes made for a most wonderful Sunday morning! Definitely going back!

Just had a delicious berry pancake shared with my wife. The waitresses were very pleasant and bought out two separate plates each with half a pancake. I highly recommend a visit here if you are lucky enough to be in Franshoek.

R95 for a pancake (which was far too thick and doughy - its like a big crumpet) with a few small bits of chicken in sauce...sorry its a ripoff. Not that tasty either. I can get a great steak for that price elsewhere.

There were no customers when we walked up and the waiters didn't even notice us. The food was expensive for the portion size. Food tasted good but not amazing. Wouldn't recommend it. Much better cafes along the main road.

I was very disappointed. There was only one table beside us there...and it took ages just to get a drink. The pancakes were not anything special and the portions were very small. Overpriced and under-delivering on quality.

this is the worst place I ever been, a rip of.. like seriously, absolutely disgusted, you pay 86 rand for 1 pancake with a scoop of ice cream, please don't go here!
