The Orient is our no.1 Sushi place by far! We make a point to come here at least once a month. Food is ALWAYS amazing and the staff are friendly and attentive, the Chef always has a special to surprise you with.

Visited here with friends and family. Food is well priced, had the sushi buffet and was able to eat a good amount. Sushi is fresh, but have had better. Ambiance is not bad and the service is also satisfactory. Would visit again when in need of a sushi fix.
One of the best sushi restaurants in the table View area. The quality of the fish is superb and their turnaround is relatively fast averaging about 20 minutes for a large order. The proximity to the beach is very good however the outdoor seating does not have a sea view. This is a favourite stop for me to collect takeaway sushi and the the team is very friendly. They serve the usual variety of water, soft drinks, SAB beers, wine and a small variety of gin, brandy and whisky.
Exceptional sushi and attentive service in an unpretentious, easy-going environment. Perfect as a go-to lunch spot!
Really not impress by the food standard. Opposite we have a bowl with cold water which means these prawns had to defrost before serving and look - The prawn isn't even properly cleaned and washed. Food is also tasteless, the cocktails are the best tasting thing. The chef isn't entirely consistent which is sad. Waiter service very good, could be better, but we are pleased. Dont think we will revisit.
Best value Sushi in the area. Excellent chefs and friendly staff. Sushi is always fresh. My grandson loves the Sushi and the friendly staff.
Ordered sushi take away and was told it would take 30min. Went back after 30min and they clearly forgot my order and said I had to wait 5min more. I said I don't have time and would like a refund which they refused. After 15min they gave me something that was a rushed job off course and resembled scrambled eggs. Unacceptable!
I usually don't write reviews especially if they are bad ones but this time I had to. I went out with my sister and our boyfriends, and we all had the buffet. We ordered what we wanted and everything was going fine; however, our waitress started sighing everytime we ordered something which made us feel bad to even place an order. She then got our orders wrong a few times which we overlooked because we did not want her to sigh again. To top things off she brought us our bill without asking for it and hid it behind her back when she got to our table. I am super upset will not be eating there again. So disappointing...
