Terrible, I don't often leave views but this definitely deserves one. We waited 3 hours for our food to come but when it did it was not enough for my 4 friends and I. Very aggressive, manipulative manager and overpriced. Do Not Recommend This Place

Nice decor feels like you're in someone's house. Chairs were a little uncomfortable didn't make me want to stay for long. Food was great though enjoyed the meat platter.

This restaurant was during my holiday in Cape Town my most visited and loved one. The Service is excellent. Really sweet people! The food, the ethiopian coffee and the all spice tea are all heavenly. If you want to eat a deliciously filling meal in a lovely old book store style atmosphere, you are at the right place! I loved it here and will definitely come again. Thank you for the lovely time!

Had the great pleasure of having Timbuktu Cafe cater our business end of year lunch and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Incredible good (as always) enjoyed by all and friendly, efficient service. Highly recommend!
