John Hardie is a rare creature - an opera singer who also does superb gas-fitting and plumbing work. The man is real, and he has a big heart, unlike your regular grab-a-buck specialist. I recommend him very highly. He works diligently and he doesn't cut corners. His prices are reasonable.

John was great - we came to reroute our gas from the cupboard in our kitchen to outside. He was quick and efficient and the end result looks great. He also moved our bath for us and re plumbed it which was great.
I've used John Hardie's plumbing services a number of times. He has always delivered top notch service. He is friendly, courteous, punctual and delivers on his promises. His advice is always excellent and comes from years of experience. John has done routine plumbing jobs for us, dealt with an emergency leak and also installed a heat pump/geyser. His follow up work is also thorough. He is truly a rarity today: someone who is scrupulous, reliable and who does not cut corners. He gives you excellent value for your money. I would take off 1/4 star because he does not sing while he works, but then he no longer bills himself as the Singing Plumber!
I needed my kitchen mixer replaced and found John via Google Maps. John was able to assist same day and was punctual (none of the other plumbers I used before had ever arrived on time). Great service! Will definitely recommend John to anyone who is in need of plumbing service.
