A state-funded radiology department with x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI and interventional radiology facilities. The department has an academic training program regarded as one of the best in the country, and is staffed by multiple specialists with various areas of interest. Referrals from certain outside hospitals (or internal Tygerberg Hospital departments) are required to access the services.
