"You have been a good customer since 2017 but this is where our roads part". Those were the words used by a manager when my wife went to pick up her vehicle after our last vehicle issues. In January 2020 we were told that the front brake pads as well as cam belt on my wife's vehicle had to be replaced. We had the work done. About 3 weeks after the service, a squeal developed on the rear brakes. We took the vehicle back and were told that the sliding pins on the rear brakes were rusted and had to be replaced. Again we had the work done. March 2020. On the way to work, my wife lost power steering and the alternator light came on. Turns out a bolt on the alternator came loose and it caused the alternator to shift, the alternator was damaged beyond repair. The diagnosis was that a bolt was stripped by the people who installed it (a third party) and that caused it to come loose. It is our opinion that the work that was done on the vehicle was done without checking other possible problems. If the mechanics did a good job, they would have picked up that a bolt was stripped and the alternator would not have been damaged, as this spesific bolt had to be loosened while replacing the cambelt). In terms of fixing a spesific problem, these guys do a good job, but they fix what they have to and do not look for things that can cause trouble in future. The worst is the attitude recieved from them after they replaced the alternator, basically telling us straight up that we should not use them any more. Totally unprofessional. But not to worry car service city, we will not be using you anymore
