What a selection! If you are after the best wines in the country, go to Caroline’s. And if you’re wanting to browse a selection of stunning imported wines - go to Caroline’s!! Wines from France, Argentina, USA, Chile, New Zealand, wherever you can think of really. They have a comprehensive selection of large format wines as well as exquisite glassware.
I’m from Brazil, went to Cape Town two months ago, and was a nice surprise for me, to find this wine store. Good selection of the best South African wines, and good prices too. The employees are not so friendly (never smile), but they are polite and efficient. I really liked the proper packaging to carry the wines in the bags on air travel. None of my bottles broke. I highly recommend this store, and will return every time I go to Cape Town.
Pretty good selection of European wines, they even have some decent alsacian Gewuerztraminer. The staff is helpful and I'm looking forward to open the bottle of South African Sauvignon Blanc they recommended
Speedy service from staff that go the extra mile to fulfill the needs of the customer. It took merely 10 minutes to get assistance for a wine selection for my brother's wedding and I am satisfied with the results.
We had a wonderful tour of the Cape wine estates with Lieze today. Lieze picked fabulous estates to visit, and was both informative and entertaining with her knowledge and stories, without being in any way intrusive on our experience. I would highly recommend a tour with Lieze. We had a most enjoyable experience.
Always wanted to go there and now I have ticked off my bucket list. I met Simone and she spent time telling me about some awesome wines. What an experience. You will find something you like here. You are also bound to go back - like I will.
