What a great hike...we started at Monks Cowl and the total distance according to our phones was 7.2km. The hike was easy but challenging if you are unfit. The views from the Sphinx were breathtaking and the Crystal falls seen along the way was truly lovely.

If you're unfit it will feel like a near death experience, but well worth it. Waterfalls along the way with beautiful views at the end.

Beautiful views and a definite must do hike On my yearly visits to the berg I always ensure I climb these mountains

Beautifully maintained hike. Gives you stunning views of Monks Cowl and the berg. Trail goes through forests first and past Crystal falls. Moderate climb. You need to be fairly fit or take it slow. Well worth the effort. Climb further to breakfast Stream for really Majestic views

If you want to see a view. Go to the sphinx! The path up is breattaking with waterfalls you can drink from. Splendid for the inexperienced walker.

A walk of about 1.5 hours from Champagne Castle Hotel. Beautiful view, trail is mostly easy, lots of water along the way, clear view of Cathkin if there's not too much clowds
