Staff helpful but had to wait 20minutes for service, 1 person in the Queue in front of me. I was attended to for 2 minutes. Monday 18th march, afternoon around 3.30pm. There were 3 staff on duty at the time.

I walked into the store yesterday to enquire about their packages and services etc in an attempt to change my service provider. I was met with the most unhelpful and disinterested woman who answered my few questions as though it pained her. I was then told that the information I'm looking for, I can go to the website and find it. Considering I was the only person in the store and told to go source the information myself, that level of service is disgusting and cell c has just lost a customer.

On Tuesday the 14th I went to a cell c store in Benoni lake side mall to do an upgrade on my contract which was due to expire in January. I was assisted by a lady buy the name of Vuyelwa, she did an upgrade to the package of the R199 deal for the 20GB data and added a router. She told me that I will still get my normal 5GB package plan for R99 for the remaining 2months, and she said the new contract will kick in once the current one expire in January. She did a sim swap as well as I needed the 3in1 sim, so she told me the sim will be active in 3hours. I got home and when I switched on my router it reported that I have less than 250MB remaining, which really got me confused. I contact Vuyelwa yesterday to ask her what was going on. The explanation she gave me was nothing relevant to what she told me when I did the upgrade. Because if she had told me that she will migrate me to a 500MB data and that if I want the contract immediately It would cost me more money I wouldn’t have done the upgrade. She said in order to fix my query she will have to make the contract effective immediately and that would mean I have to pay the extra cost that is the pro rata of R199 R239 for the subscription, which I refused to pay. I contacted customer service several times and they advised me to go to the store so that they can sort it out. When I contact the store they said there is nothing they can do. It is now 6days still no solution. Lesley the manager didn't even bother to contact me. Busi the assistant manager said she can only buy me 2GB of data for 2months and she said I will have to buy my self data in January which didn't make sense hense she failed to do that. I have never experienced such BAD service.
