SAAF Museum Airshow 2019 like always, did not disappoint. Facilities were great and the show in the air could not have been any better. Definitely a must attend airshow.

After living in Pretoria for more than 30 years, I finally visited the monument on Bays Hill. I've never seen the gates open before. Apparently the keys to the gate are available at the Air Force museum at the Zwartkops air-base but I found the gates open while the gardens and lawn were being watered. The monument is marvelously tranquil and the proximity of planes coming in to land at the air-base is fantastic!
