While it's a well-stocked supermarket, unfortunately what it's not stocked well with are (a) enough active checkouts (they've a huge amount of tills) or (b) clever enough management to work out when more tills should be opened. I finally lost it today (16/03/21) when I stood in the 'express' queue of about ten people and one till open, while at the 'money' desk there were no customers but two tellers who wouldn't help me. I reckon Checkers Sun Valley are the new champions for slow till service, and I certainly would recommend shoppers to rather go to their rival in Noordhoek where they might not have such a good range of stuff, but at least they know how to get you out of the shop to enjoy your purchases without losing the will to live standing in a queue.

Veggie section leaves much to be desired. Still a favorite place to go but they could rotate stock better and actually put prices on their items. The Manager is also a little grumpy. He always seems to be running away for a smoke when someone has a problem lol.

Very clean and tidy store. Stocking all household items and more. Friendly personal and willing to assist.

The size and variety at the store is vegetarian, however the staff and managers are not interested in offering decent service levels. Sad.

There is a complete disregard for covid protocol here. Some of the staff and especially shoppers walk around with masks not covering their whole face, and sometims a mask entirely off. Social distancing is not adhered to in the isles and when it gets busy shoppers walk through the pay point queues, pushing through lines. Security and management have done nothing but enforce mask wearing upon entry, after that it's free rein. Management should be held accountable for their laxed approach.

This is my favourite retail store in the whole of Cape Town..! The place is huge so stocks everything you could possibly need but the store is so well designed that you don't have to walk forever to get from one side to the other. I also have never had to wait longer than 3-5 minutes to check out because there are so many operational till points. The quality of the food from the deli is top class and the specials they have often are the best prices! Love this place..!
