Chalets were lovely, clean and well appointed, beds very comfortable and appreciated the service option. Little explorations to the rock art & stadsal, then as 36 degrees most days, enjoyable river chill/swim. All has wonderful views and rock sculptures to set the imagination aflame!

Beautiful area for camping. Splashes of white in the sky at night, hiking Wolfcracks, and swimming in the river. It truly brings you back to what it means to be alive. Cedeberg is truly amazing.

We spent a fantastic weekend at the campsite. The campsite was super clean and with lush lawns down to the river. The hiking in the area is great. A must do, is a visit to the wine tasting area.

Great getaway. Peaceful. Absolutely No cellphone reception . Lots of hiking trails and mountain biking trails to enjoy.

Beautiful grasses, shady sites, either on the river with shallow shandy play areas, or back from the water, still in shade. Many varieties of chalet/house accommodation. Reception at Dwarsrivier / Cederberg winery. Well visited by MTB and the access point to Wohlfberg crags. Fantastic for children, with a basic play park and sandy riverside with shallow water for many hours playing.

Very nice campsite with lots of grass and big shady trees. A river to swim in run next to the campsite. There are also chalets to rent.

Camping area is pretty mediocre. But the sights and hiking routes are out of this world. Theres a reason this area is dubbed a World heritage site.

Mixed feelings. The lady at the reception seemed tired/overworked/understaffed and was slightly unpleasant. She did however provide a useful map and directions about the relevant trails, albeit not in the friendliest of ways. The campsite itself is probably one of the nicest around: plenty of areas to swim, hiking trails for all levels, mountain biking trails (thick sand, beginners should stick to gravel roads). Ablution: clean and functioning well, could do with some renovation in the near future though.
