Loved this hike! Challenging and very exciting, the scenery is just awesome! The main challenge is getting to the top (about 3 or so kms), and once you're there it becomes easier. It's a very rocky trail, but has clear signage. The picnic area is well maintained, clean and kid friendly. The staff of very friendly and helpful, you need to first book. They take cards, which is very convenient during the pandemic.

Visited De Wildt Adventure Trails during the Easter Weekend and had a wonderful time on the Kiepersol Trail and the extra loop. We booked in advance and were warmly welcomed and the trails were explained. A nice touch were the arm bands with emergency contact numbers printed on them. The trails are dog friendly and our Germans Shepherds loved the hike. We had a delicious lunch at the picnic area and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

The hiking provided a good workout, although it is quite hot on the mountain. The trails are very well marked. The people are friendly and facilities are clean. Unfortunately the picnic spot is not close to the parking, but if arranged beforehand, they can help you transport your cooler boxes to the picnic area. They also sell food.

Very technical trail. Very well marked. There are markings literally every 10 meters or so. There is no getting lost in this trail. The host is warm and welcoming.

Such an exciting trail! They have trails ranging from 1-12.5km. We did the 12.5km one with beautiful views of the Harties dam. The trail is the best marked I’ve been to so far. The staff was very friendly, explained the trail well. They also have a picnic spot and a food truck. Be sure to make a booking before heading there.

Did the extended hiking trail past Sunday, track is beautifully marked, clean, awesome views from the top of the mountain, if you not hiking fit it could be quite tough, take enough water and good hiking shoes. 13,5 kms and 627 meter elevation

A hidden gem for those who love being outdoors. The trails are constantly maintained and improved. Over 60 species of indigenous trees have been identified and are being tagged with identification plaques. To get the most out of this venue you need to be strong and of good health. We have walked here twice now, both occasions were exceptional!
