My experience was awful. They refused to honour a warranty on a battery. They used all kinds of excuses and wanted to sell me a new battery. I went to two of their competitors who tested the battery and in fact stated that the battery was in perfect condition. Watch out for these guys. Something has changed. I have bought many batteries here over the years and referred many friends. I no longer reccomend this company and would strongly caution going to them. The little savings they bring is not worth the shocking backup service. I am sad to see this. They used to be so customer driven. What happened guys?? I gave you one star rating, only because this platform doesn't allow a zero star rating!

Absolutely pathetic service from manager. Mr Patel has no customer service ethics whatsoever. Not willing to assist or go the extra mile to help customers. After one of their high performance batteries which has a 2 year guarantee starting giving me problems after only just a year he refused to assist, spoke arrogantly and took a call in the middle of our conversation. I would much rather pay double the price then receive this level of poor service.Other staff I store were far more helpful and decided to give my battery a full charge I store to determine if there is actually a fault with it. Deltec Durban is in need of new management desperately.

Unethical modus operandi. Bought a battery at a premium price for the advertised warranty on of 3 years. Battery fails after 23 months. On returning the item, I did not have proof of purchase as the salesperson then engraved the date of the purchase on the battery. I produced but a credit card statement showing Deltec Pinetown and the amount and on the battery the date of purchase was engraved. They still refused to honour the guarantee... How low can a company get.
