My vehicle was the victim of an attempted theft that left the drivers door plus lock mechanism badly damaged. The thieves also managed to pry open the bonnet and ruin the alarm system. A claim was filed and I was referred onto Dent Tech who would fix "everything". During the repair process, their technicians damaged the anti smash-and-grab window tinting on the drivers side door. Their Supervisor, Mr R Gunkel, although apologetic, seemed skeptical and offered to repair pending his own investigation. Nothing came of it. Secondly, they attempted to overcharge me at the reception desk but because the lady was friendly and quickly resolved the problem, I was happy to let that one go. What finally ticked me off was, upon leaving the premises I discovered that the alarm had not been repaired. This was the main problem with the car and it was not addressed at all. I immediately called my insurer who instructed me to take the car elsewhere to complete the repairs. What was done was good... but the good did not outweigh the bad.

Can't believe the poor service received from this company. Small job suppose to take 6-8 days ended up being 15 days. Car suppose to be ready by 16h00. Made me wait for 55 minutes before it was ready. Would really recommend using another panelbeater
