Great service from Christopher the consultant. If all the labour staff was as polite, understanding, respectful and joyfully as that guy.... South Africa would be one of the best countries.... That guy does what he loves and loves what he does.... Please keep up the great work Chris and I hope your colleagues learn from you

The queues are very long as expected and moving at a snail's pace. There's a main queue and then there are 2 other smaller queues on the side but without any proper designation or announcement so when you get there you have to ask the security which queue you need to be in.

If all staff could work together in unison and have the same knowledge of documents required it would save lots of time. On each visit another official has different documents/information that is required which results in a back and forth situation. They also stop seeing maternity claim individuals quite early in the morning which makes it difficult for some individuals

That department needs to be closed indefinitely...so I arrived at 4:15 in the morning to process my UIF, no social distancing whatsoever outside...huge spreader for Covid... I was only called in at 3:30 only to be told my paperwork wasn't enough, I have to go back to my ex employer and get a list of all the people that I worked it...now howz that for customer service...its like they doing u a favour forgetting that their salaries r from all those pple that treat like garbage...having to wait the whole day only to be told come back again...very inconsiderate and they lack compassion...and they take long breaks with no care of the long queues...I was in tear...after losing my job and have to be treated like this is just not fair. And another thing...the hobos now sleep outside the building its so unsafe

I took someone but there is no plan or system or maybe the problem is with the staff not sure. On the 13th of Jan 21 we came there at about pass seven the line was cut and we had to go back the 14th of Jan 21 we got there at 6.00 we only finished at 2.45 and that is only because this person was an elderly person so you get advanced privilege but what about the people I left there. If you don't die of hunger you will die of sun stroke. Can someone please see what's happening there they not doing us a favour they are getting paid to do that job but if they are understaffed fix it if they not competent get training for them thank you. Comments given with respect I still love And appreciate you .

I had more difficulty finding the offices than inside. A very helpful Security Guard assisted my in first understanding why I was there. Filled in the register, then he took me to a first gentleman who then redirected him to another office where a lady assisted me. My employee had been twice and the UI-19 form was incorrectly completed each time, so I had to get first hand info on what was correct. But in and out in less than 15 minutes must be a thumbs up for the Department. My only suggestion would be for employees to greet and smile. It would go a long way to improving service levels and how they in turn are treated.

Very long queue Have to be very early in the morning. They cut the queue on a certain amount of people. Have been going 4 times at the end I aventually got to the front door. Security was very helpful so as the gentleman at reception. Very helpful gentleman who was helping me.

I've always only heard good things about the Randburg branch, hence I decided to come here. Yesterday we stood in the blazing sun since 07h30. They opened only around 8am (opening time is 07h30), then closed the doors at 15h40 (operating hours are until 16h00), when I was 8th from the door, with no explanation. Due to the Pandemic, we understand they have procedures to follow, however there are surely more efficient ways to handle it. This morning, I joined the queue at 06h45. At 07h35, a Security Guard came to "cut the line" way shorter than the queue yesterday, with no explanation as to why and how they determined that should be the cut-off point, without giving us a chance to see if we get in today. In the end, they took the last group of 4 people inside for registration, up to the predetermined "cut-off" point at 14h40, who were all out by 15h00, but the guards refused to let anyone else from the registration queue in, in what we can only assume was to "make a point"...? They did however finish the queue of payments people. They seem to have no regard for people's jobs, transport costs and inconvenience caused by their inefficient process.
