We were on sabbatical in SA, prior to returning to the USA I started implant procedures. I was so impressed with the quality of the work provided by Dr. Grundlingh and his associate that I returned to SA to have the work completed 3 months later. Dr Grundlingh and his staff are top notch. My very tight schedule was accommodated with grace and diplomacy. I wouldn’t hesitate to return should I require further work. Samantha, who runs Dr. Grundlingh’s office went above and beyond helping me to schedule all appointments necessary in a two week time frame. Highly recommend this practice.

On discovering from Dr Emil Langenegger that his recommendation was for me to have 3 implants, he suggested Dr Ian Grundlingh would be the ideal person to complete the task....and he was not wrong!! From the onset the efficiency and friendliness portrayed by Samantha November, his receptionist, reassured me that I was in very good hands. Next I was to meet Charlene, his dental assistant, who immediately made me feel at ease. And then the master himself...Dr Ian Grundlingh...who's relaxed and calming persona completed the hat trick. It is evident that he is a true professional who only settles for perfection. He ensured that the colour of the implants matched my own teeth perfectly. I had lengthy ( 1 year) dental treatment at the Cape Periodontal specialists clinic in Newlands , with Dr. Grundlingh and Dr. Langenegger . It is an absolutely perfect team , with very kind medical assistants . Although I was very scared at the beginning. I felt very comfortable there . I am extremely satisfied with the result . After extensive “internet research” I consulted with Dr Grundlingh. I had a number of serious dental issues. It is now almost 9 months down the line. Not only is my dental issues sorted, but Dr Grundlingh has completely changed my appearance…. every smile is a smile of confidence, joy and gratitude. Throughout the many sessions in Dr Grundlingh's chair, I was always impressed by his extensive knowledge, professionalism and thoroughness. Every option was discussed, checked, double checked and checked again before the products were finalized. My biggest fear before embarking on this journey of dental reconstructing, was the discomfort (aka pain!) that I have learnt dental procedures to be accompanied with… but there was nothing! No pain! I cannot be more satisfied with the end result, and it all started from reading a review like this one!
