I have only seen this doctor once. She was 1,5 hours late and didn't apologise. She attended to me well. Checked my blood pressure and did a scan. That went fine. I did a blood test. She said that she would get back to me the next day with the results. After I called daily for a week, she still hadn't communicated the blood test results to me. Finally after 8 days, she sent a very vague SMS. I think I would have recommend her if her administration was more organised.

Great doctor. She delivered my son in 2014. He was almost two weeks overdue so I had to be induced, the labor was tricky because I was dilated but the baby's head was not in a good position. I was even ready for a C-SECTION but the doctor advised me to wait for a bit she was so keen on it. The long and short of it is I had NVD for i am grateful to this day.

Worst Doctor. Rude and arrogant. Doesn't even apologise for being late. She is too quick to cut for a c section. I'm glad medical aids are taking a stand. I would not recommend her.

I went to Dr Phakoe for the first time today and I had a great experience, I normally shy away from Dr's visits as I feel uncomfortable. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I have definitely found my home.
