Dr Sandy Koen is an excellent Dr. She took good care of me and my twins during my pregnancy. I delivered at 37 weeks and my son was 3kg and daughter 2.9kg.

Dr Koen is a very lively lady. She takes time to understand her patients and what their needs are. Explains procedures in details and talks you through what you are looking at. She is very thorough and would rather take longer to do something than risk your health and safety. The receptionists are very kind and welcoming As with most places this is a cash only. You should be able to claim back from medical aid.

Excellent gynecologist, she knows what she does! I tested COVID positive 3 days before birth, had a C section and the operation was very quick with no complications. 2 visits daily from Dr. Koen and extra care after the C section. Left the hospital a day earlier too. However my advice - ask many time as you can to confirm your appointment dates and the date of the delivery of your child.

Dr Koen is a wonderful Obgyn! She is very attentive and makes you feel at ease. She quickly identified and dealt with a complication with compassion and care especially as I had an exceptionally stressful pregnancy with my husband being hospitalised for weeks due to back surgery. The Csection stitches were great, the scar is healing very nicely, scaring will not be bad at all. She is also surrounded by a wonderful and kindhearted team with Chanel and Charlene at her front desk!

Dr Koen is the most compassionate, kind, professional and knowledgeable Gynaecologist I've ever been to. She took such great care of both me and my baby during my pregnancy. She was very thorough and even during complications that came up, I knew we were in good hands. My c section was done so well and I healed amazingly. Even during the pandemic, she took great care of us. I would recommend her to any women looking for an amazing Gynaecologist.

Her professionalism is superb. She's so skilled and thorough, I felt as ready as could be going into labour. Even with the sudden changes that happened along the way, she eased me into each step and i trusted her completely. I'm so grateful to have been blessed with such a good gynae.
