Best restaurant in town. Exciting and exotic menu. Very good food. Brilliant service from the waiters and owners. Interesting selection of wines from the local areas. Haute cuisine at its best. We will be back!

Lovely place with really good food. From the outside you’d assume it’s an average priced old Swellendam restaurant, but once you see the menu you realise it’s not. Food and drinks aren’t cheap but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our food and how quickly it came. My only wish is that there was craft beer on tap. Otherwise, worth the visit We also received complimentary soup at the beginning which was a nice touch.

Food was really good. Staff were attentive and available. Starters were just the right portion and tasty. Think the souffle was slightly overdone. Mains were great especially the venison trio. Not great at social distancing. Place has a beautiful setting and ambience. Should try if in the area.

We booked our Christmas lunch at Drostdy. What a warm welcome from the owner. Our lunch were superb and service excellent. Well priced and DEFINITELY comes highly recommended. I would give them 10 stars

Absolutely amazing experience! This might be the most cozy and romantic restaurant, I’ve ever been too. The food is to die for! And I’ve eaten at Michelin Star restaurants! Wow wow wow! Super impressed!

Lack of Covid protocols but the food was of a high standard, if it's my last meal, I was worth it. Starters were garlic snails and bread. Mains were lamb shank that fell off the bone. A trio of venison was 3 times the deliciousness. Dessert was the chocolate brownie. Totally worth a visit. Sit by the window or outside to keep safe.
