I almost didn't eat here because of the reviews and what a shame it would have been. We were a party of 14 and I have given it 5 stars because there is honestly not 1 thing we could complain about. From the quality of serviettes to the dessert, everything was impeccable. The food took about an hour to come out but when you want quality that's the time you are going to wait. The servers were so friendly and helpful and the owner is an absolute delight. The food was the best tasting food any of us have had in many years. It was fresh, full of flavor and the portions were huge. As I said 14 of us ate, none of us ate the same meal and no one was left with just an average experience. As a self proclaimed foodie it was Truly the best meal I have had in years.

Beautiful corner restaurant in the Lifestyle centre, but sadly many make the mistake of walking right passed this restaurant probably assuming that it’s is still associated with Salsa. This restaurant is now owned by an Argentine man who is extremely friendly, and the menu, although small, is diverse and the food is delicious! The vibe in the evenings is spectacular with all their little lights and the thumping music. I have never been disappointed with the food here. Please give Cactus a try! You won’t regret it and will eagerly wait for your next dinning experience there!
Terrible service. Our waiter was extremely rude. His attitude completely changed towards us after asking for glasses of water. He made it a big deal that I was ordering water instead of another drink even though the tables next to us had glasses of water as well. When asked if we could order our meals with the drinks he said no and to wait for him to get our drinks. When asked for a top up of water he rudely reprimanded me and did not want to get it for me. After politely telling the manager of our experience, the waiter still did not apologize. He not only had an attitude but forcefully attempted to make us purchase more food. Food was average. Would not recommend.
Amazing food, good service, take’s a little long to get your food, the quality and taste more than make’s up for that. Portion size’s are good, friendly and accommodating staff. Good experience.
Horrible service, waited 1 hour for meals on a table of 8. 6 meals arrived had to wait a half an hour for the other 2 meals 2 arrive. No communication as to why, burger was brought without chips as well, order of peri-peri prawns was brought out as lemon and garlic, Food was average.
Amazing food and excellent service i liked my pulled out pork belly burger for only R85 it value for money definatly coming back
