Dr Sanker himself is an exceptional OBGYN. His reception staff however are not. They are discourteous and obtrusive. Do not be afraid to complain about them to the Dr himself. This made me want to stop being a patient of his. Sick, nervous and scared people do not need to be treated rudely when seeking medical care.

What an amazing gentleman and incredible Doctor. He oversaw both our children's natural births and exudes a calmness that is contagious to patients and nursing staff alike. He takes time to explain things and has the most incredible bedside manner. Definitely the one to walk you through this milestone of having a child.

Firstly let me say. Dr Sankar is a fantastic Doctor. This review is in no way a review of Dr Sankar as a healthcare practitioner, but rather a review of the practice itself. I had an interaction with Dr Sankar's reception staff today that basically stopped me from actually being able to go to Dr Sankar. So however good a Doctor he is, and again he is a GREAT Doctor, his skills are useless to me or you if we can't actually go see him. Last year my wife was hospitalised with an illness and ended up in ICU on a ventilator, Dr Sankar, who has been her doctor for many years, came through with the life saving diagnosis and intervention. She recently started exhibiting similar symptoms to those which put her in hospital for weeks last year. I phoned Dr Sankar's room today to urgently get her an appointment fearing the worst. The receptionist told me the soonest he can see her is December the 11th. A month and a half from now. I tried to explain the story and asked her to please check the patient file so she could understand the seriousness and urgency. She told me if it's urgent I must go to another Doctor because Dr Sankar is fully booked until December the 11th. I literally begged her and she coldly said she has to put the phone down and would I like the name of another Doctor. What a nightmare of an interaction at an emotional time. The unwillingness to be of assistance or even check with the Doctor or just look at the file. If this review seems overly personal it's because it is. I'm actually very angry. I almost drove there to confront her in person but what would that achieve.

Dr Sankar is very professional and courteous. We were extremely happy with him throughout our pregnancy. We recommend Dr Sankar to all new parents.

Amongst the top OB Gyn around, he is a season one scan specialist (think that's correct). He goes out of his way to ensure clients are kept happy, his time keeping is not great but who in this field can boast otherwise. Carry a dvd as he can transfer the scan to disc after. Parking is off street and seems pretty safe. He is also an ardent believer in natural over c section which is incredibly useful and definitely a dying trait amongst those in his field.
