I did my training here few years ago and I've done similar courses in other counties over the years, this one stands out to me for many reasons. Deon is experienced and informative. Very professional and does not just run a class or train and prepare you for the final test but makes sure you clearly understand everything and that it becomes second nature to you. It made me forget about the actual certificate I had came to acquire at first and instead opened my mind to broader and deeper aspects of the lifeguard culture and responsibilities and also inspired some personal goals. I enjoyed the classes, fun and witty with a good balance of practicals and theory. Outside the classroom, Deon would make time to meet at the pool during his weekends off just to help correct my swimming technique yet that was not part of the course content. He is observant and caters for each individual's strengths & weakness. I can go on and on about my time there but all in all, it was beyond my expectations.
