MoCPD, short for Mosepedi (the traveler), offers comprehensive, registered Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training for Environmental Health Practitioners, Environmental Health Assistants, Social Workers and Social Auxiliary Workers. As the name implies, “re sepela le wena” (we travel with you) in the quest to being the best Practitioner and in ensuring that you comply with professional registration. Our office base is in Durban, but we come to all the provinces and districts of the country, and training can be done in-house by arrangement. At MoCPD, we “bring the fun back into learning”. All our CPD training is a result of active research and engagement with fellow practitioners locally, regionally and internationally. We offer much more than just CPD points: an experience of training that should endure and hopefully “empower minds and inspire change”. MoCPD also provides Management training, Programme evaluation and Research in a variety of areas. Our previous clients include Oxfam-Australia, Oxfam-Netherlands, Path-Seattle, World Vision-South Africa, Biowatch-South Africa, KwaZulu-Natal Progressive Primary Health Care, Monash University and the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health, amongst others.
