One day visit to the oncology ward yesterday. Was massively impressed by the service. Greeted by everyone I came into contact with and was treated with great respect and professionalism. Whilst the hospital was quiet this does not detract from the staff being readily available and providing care far beyond my expectations. Well done to all. Just one issue which failed dismally was the dispensary. Literally took hours to dispense basic pain killers. Eventually I left without receiving my medication as I could no longer accept this inordinate delay. So parklands, we’ll dine. Parklands dispensary, you failed dismally

Beautiful hospital, however slightly delayed reaction. The Pediatric ward we were in was really well looked after. The meals and choice of meals varied quite dramatically which made things enjoyable. Also they accommodated us well and made us feel at home all the while keeping a professional attitude. All round really happy

I am not very happy with the service that we received. Two days ago I bought my two year old daughter ,who had been burnt to the emergency section outside. They are incredibly uncommunicative and lack compassion, yesterday with our follow-up appointment we waited two hours for them to redress her injury waiting for the dressing to be sent from the pharmacy that is 2 minutes away inside the hospital, With no ongoing communication as to why we were waiting 2 hours and of course with a two year year-old who been hurt it was incredibly inconvenience waiting that amount of time. The doctor on duty was not very good with my baby girl, she was in a state and he did nothing to calm her. I recommend that the staff learn to communicate with clients, especially when mothers have small children and are waiting 2 hours to be helped. It really felt like government hospital treatment, that we paid a lot of money for privately. It just comes across like people do not know what the hell they are doing, when I asked one of the nurses what is taking so long we got a dirty look and was told they will help us just now. 2 hours later we got help. I don't expect this kind of treatment at a private hospital.

I delivered my baby in Parklands. Nurses were amazing. Treated me like I am their daughter.

My family took me to the Parklands emergency rooms while I was having a heart attack. The doctor who treated me was grossly incompetent as she could not read the ECG report. She discharged me 2 or 3 hours after arriving with a diagnosis of panic attack and ulcers. I took the very same ECG run at Parklands to a cardiologist at Entabeni hospital and he said there is nothing normal about this ECG. He ran another ECG and admitted me into hospital immediately. An angiogram was done the next day, it was confirmed that I had a heart attack. Misdiagnosis by Parklands Hospital.

If you're an international patient dont bother going here .. they will RIP you off. 2,000 rands for a doctor's appointment and a urine test.

The doctor's service is excellent I can't say the same for the nurses they are loud even at night. They take hours to give you meds not forgetting the way they bad mouth the patients.....the cleaning stuff is more help than the nurses. It's really sad to see behavior like that.
