This is really a little piece of paradise in the middle of Highways and cities. Did not k ow it exited until today. Definitely work a visit. Let kids play in the stream and take a walk down to the waterfall it is worth it. Pack a picnic basket. Note there is entrance fees.

Pleasantly surprised by this location. Closes at 4 p.m. Entrance fee is now R18 instead of the R14 mentioned on the website. The place is still very well maintained, parking is decent and the hiking trails are really nice. There's also 1 that's about 4kms long if you're up for that. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick drive out of the city.

Really good family outing. Great space to do a nice hike. It's very easy walking and the views are great. Best decision I made to go there. Nice spots to have picnics in.

It really is paradise. I really liked this place and would probably be going back there very soon. My friends also enjoyed the hike.

It was an amazing out door experience, I always thought it's impossible to find a waterfall in your own back yard. it was a firsthand personal experience that will never be forgotten. The whole environment has been designed to be safe and everyone who walks through the gate has one and same purpose which is reaching to the awesome waterfall.

Clean,u feel safe. But please there were so many empty parking bays available, the Gaurds at the parking area are working hand in hand with another person who has permission or maybe his own private property charges R30.00 per car to park. This is totally wrong. Please investigate this. Other than this nasty corruption. We still enjoyed the few hours we spent there

Been to paradise valley nature reserve this past Saturday. Highly disappointed because as we arrived at the waterfall there were people sitting in the middle and praying with candles lit all over. I don't think that a nature reserve should allow this kind of behavior as it stops people both locally and internationally to visit and just changes the mood of an individual. Please take into consideration that people from far and near come to visit and to walk into that is very very disappointing. It's a place to relax, chill and have fun with family and friends not a praying site. This is just how my friends and I felt and we think that this kind of practice should not be allowed. We had to move away from that area and walk further up to a smaller waterfall.
