Just the most reasonably priced cafe and take away. The vegetable biryani was just the beat I have had ever and the spinach and potato curry was just out of this world. Loaded with lots of flavour, this truly is an amazing place in Durban.

If Bunny Chow is your thing. I'm a bunny enthusiast. 100% the best bunny in Durban. Looking for a twist. try the Butter Chiken Bunny for a life changing experience. The only bunny where the meat exceeds the bread.

As many of you would know, I am an avid reviewer on Local Guides as I'm an actual local guide in Durban. I walked in to take some pictures of the place at around 17:00 Wednesday to upload to Maps. It was empty, literally just an old man who worked at the restaurant eating in the dining area (unprofessional) He proceeds to rudely tell my American guest and I that pictures aren't allowed and that we should have asked.... Because we may be wanting to steal their name. Yes, he thinks that we'd need a picture to steal their name... Because obviously one would not be able to recall "The Bunny Bar" at a later date and that we were definitely committing corporate espionage. My guest was leaving Durban the next day and now she remembers being scolded for taking pictures at a restaurant by an old man with curry stained fingers. Lighting needs some work. The menu should not be printed on an A4 page and placed in a sleeve. Some of the Bunny's are really cheap though, pity I won't be refering any of my guests to the place. I've been going to Goundens for 20 years, those are the best Bunny Chows in Durban. Quality beats quantity everyday.

Girlfriend bought as takeaway. She was amazed at how welcoming and friendly the family who run the restaurant were. We spent under R100 and have left overs for days! Lovely food!
