The food was great, service was amazing. My waiter was exceptional. She went the extra mile to ensure that I got my order in time. The lover's platter is my go to and the succulent and tasty 600g ribs.

I've been to this restaurant often between 2018 and 2020. In 2018 when I first relocated I usually ordered takeaways. In 2020 however I've had a few sit in experiences and boy was I disappointed. I always get the same waitress who never introduces herself. She's simply lethargic. The food is very nice but the service is appalling. The only friendly face in that restaurant is the current manager. I'm so sad to say this - they are just not improving.

Wow their food is perfect never been to John dory's before it was my first time, and I must say I am looking forward to going back the, the service I received was the best the waiters are very professional they know why they are the and what is required of them they have the best customer service, hopefully the one here in joburg will be the same

Unfortunately went there because I had a sushi craving. Needless to say I left without having any sushi because the friendly and sincere waitress told me the wait was long and since there is one sushi chef and plenty of orders the wait was long but Noone knew exactly what the waiting time would be so I opted to just go home. Will give them a try another day, hopefully service will be better.
