My family and I had such a wonderful experience. These creatures are truly majestic, and can teach us humans so many lessons, including on how to be a human. The guide's information was very informative and insightful. The only critique is that it is more of a petting zoo/park, than a actual sanctuary, I understand that they incorporate human interaction for tourism and for funds, but I feel it should reflect what it truly is.

Extraordinary animal encounter! We had a superb time interacting with elephants, lemurs and monkeys. Suggest spending the extra R50 feeding the monkeys to really see them up close. The surprise came at the end of the encounter crossing the wobbly bridges with an excellent view of the landscape. Kudos to Sam, the perfect guide.

Amazing experience, the Elephant sanctuary was the draw card but the walk through the monkey sanctuary stole our hearts, it was so serene and full with positive energy. The interaction between the guides and the monkeys and the elephants was incredible! What an amazing family outing!

There are guided tours that includes education and familiarisation with elephant behaviour. Then you get to feed and make physical contact with the elephants under supervision of their handlers. It is a fantastic experience sharing a short moment of connection with these gentle giants. The discussions with the guide are enlightening.
