The 1-Stop is a convenience mini-market plus restaurants on plaza, and it also has a petrol station that sells the various fuel grades for vehicles. It is situated in Heidelberg in the Western Cape just off the N2 road. The convenience stores all have very friendly staff that are always helpful, understanding that most customers are weary travellers.The toilets are super clean, and there is ample parking for both the disabled as well as able-bodied individuals. An added bonus is play-park and outdoor seating. So the kids can play while mom sets the table and dad services the car. I highly recommend this stop.

Unfortunately our stop was a disaster. The waitress was more interested in her cell phone than helping us. To get her attention we had to go and find her! The chicken fingers arrived covered in tomato sauce which we did not want and the chips were cold and stale. When we did not give her a tip she clicked her tongue and turned away with a bad attitude.
