My family and I have just spent 3 days in the Isi mangaliso area with Extreme nature tours. Charles come to pick us up from Durban airport and took us to Santa Lucía. From the first moment we were able to see he was really fond of his work and during our drive there he introduced us not only to the wildlife and the park itself but also to South Africa as a Whole. At night, soon afterwards we arrived to our hotel he came to pick us up again to see how hippos were roaming in the streets in the outskirts of the village. It was really amazing!! The following day he took us to Isi Mangaliso national park where we had the time of our lifes!!! We enjoyed ourselves very much with wildlife and even spotted rhinos fingertips until .... we really got to see a group of 4!! It was a really special moment. Later during the day we got to see another 4 as well of so much other wildlife!! At lunch he prepared a wonderful barbecue in Cape Vidal so good my children still remember it. We are very grateful for the time and memories we built there!! Absolutely recommended!!!!
From the first minute of interaction to the last everything was absolutely perfect. My father and I were on a cruise in South Africa and we watned to plan a two day excursion off the ship without much time to plan and without knowing much about safari's. We googled and found Extreme Nature Tours and called at 10PM Christmas Eve thinking we would leave a voicemail, but Peter actually picked up and began planning our adventure. From all of our travel to and from the ship, wonderfully guided tours at the Hluhluwe Park and the iSmagalisa Wetlands Park. Both tour guides that Peter provided were beyond knowledgeable and their overall attention to detail was just outstanding. Peter arranged our overnight stay at a very cute bed and breakfast type cottage where we even got to see wild Hippo grazing outside at night! Peter was extremely prompt and on time, made wonderful dinner reservations for us, and planned all of this on extremely short notice and did it all with a smile. I reccomend Peter to anyone looking to really learn and see what the St. Lucia area has to offer from snorkeling, safari visits, or any nature experience. We were so well taken care of, and not a single detail missed.
