Not recommended, will not visit again, but feel free to experience it yourself. I like to support local entrepreneurs, startups and people with passion; hence, our first visit to Felicita Ristorante in Castle Walk. We were the first guests around 18:00. Sparsely spaced tables, unique furniture but uncomfortable and impractical. Only 3 cushions in the whole restaurant. You want to eat and get out... apart from Italian music not much else is Italian. Practically no decor, atmosphere and ambience zero. They have a limited menu adopted from a previous restaurant, and not everything on the menu is available. Same with the wine and drinks menu. 3 of 5 orders were not available. Food was of good quality, but you do not necessarily get what you ordered. Waiter, only one, was sweet and friendly but not well trained in hospitality, totally out of his depth. Three people ordered Fettuccine Alfredo because the dish they ordered was not available, the owner and chef informed us that it is called Pasta alla Boscaiola, and we should not use Alfredo in his restaurant. When the dishes arrived after 20:00, what a surprise, instead of Fettuccine they got Farfalle, and instead of a cheese and mushroom cream sauce they got sundried tomatoes and olives, yes and some mushrooms. None of them eats sundried tomatoes or olives. We waited for 2h30 for all the food to arrive. I wanted to rave about this restaurant, but sorry Michele I have to be honest, we were highly disappointed. TravelSnob Johan Esterhuyse

After reading the already existing bad reviews on Google, I decided to give this restaurant a try anyway....you know...to give them the benefit of the doubt... What a mistake!!!! Do yourself a favour and spare yourself an extremely awkward and uncomfortable experience. The restaurant is almost completely empty during peak hours... and yet you have to wait 5 mins for the only waiter they have to attend to you. Then you'll be seated without getting a menu... You'll have to ask for it first. Once you have a menu..you'll have to take multiple orders, since the waiter takes one person's order and then walks away. Once you've eventually ordered your food, you'll wait 1.5 - 2 hours until your food arrives. Oh and did I mention that they aren't shy to use salt. A lot of it. My food tasted like the Dead Sea. Please don't use the excuse that you are a new restaurant and still finding your feet. If you're in the people pleasing business, you can't afford this type of conduct.

We though we might go for lunch on a Friday (2pm). The restaurant was open but there were no patrons. The lady that attended us did apologise saying the chef was running errands. Seem strange to have open doors but to be closed at the same time. Coco just around the corner is open, we will give them a try.

Absolut friendly service with the boss himself. Fresh pasta and a selction on the menue. My recommendation is gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and salad greek style. Maybe once again.

As I wasn't in the shop I can't comment on the service or ambiance, but I ordered the Blue cheese Gnocchi through uber eats, and it was literally inedible. The Gnocchi was completely raw. The sauce was decent, and I am sure it was just an oversight issue in the kitchen, but it has unfortutely literally left a bad taste in my mouth, and I am not sure I would be willing to give them another try
