I love my glass sliding windows which were installed 5 years ago. However. I have had many maintenance issues over the past 5 years. Getting FG to come out and service and fix things is nigh on impossible. They give priority to installations only. 3 months ago, in October the service team arrived (very late) to attend to a problem. Only, they did not have the silicone required to fix the bracket which had come away from the wall. They promised to be back the next day. The did not come nor phone me. Last week, after 3 months of calling to get this problem fixed they arrived after intervention of Willie Beukman. When they arrived at my premises they did not know why they were there. They thought I needed a service. I pointed out that they had to fix the bracket, which they did, with copious amounts of silicone. When I left my premises to go back to Joburg the next morning the doors would not close as they had applied the silicone too thickly. The result being I had to leave my flat with the door open to the outside. I am still trying to get hold of them to come and urgently fix this. No response to my calls. Don't know what to do next.
Worst people to deal with when it comes to repairs. Totally unreliable I have been trying to book for repairs since november 2016. I am still waiting for them to come out. I will never ever recommend FG glass to anyone
