I see this is not the first incident of this nature... The woman cooking my grilled calamari & hake had her entire mask under her chin!! (I took a photo) This while she was shouting and laughing and chatting to her Co workers. (2 of them also having only their mouths covered and a third with her mask clinging for dear life to her bottom lip!) Ms chin-mask boxed my food - mouth and nose still uncovered and then buggered up my order by adding chips instead of salad. The cashier noticed & corrected her. So what does she do? She hauls the chips out - no clean box. My fish and calamari now drenched in chip oil!! (only discovered that she had not replaced the box when I got home). I'm so disgusted. I've never had bad service at fish aways before - but this service is NOT acceptable! The Steers workers working with these women ALL wore their masks correctly!

Making our food with no mask on her face! Chewing gum & talking to her colleague while making our burgers! Over our burgers! Only puts its on over her mouth and nose AFTER she's made our food! When my wife questions her she still has the audacity to back chat & say she doesn't need to wear it while making food! Shocking! Order 20 placed at 14:03 on Sunday 20 September 2020.
Rather disappointing. Multiple items on the menu could not be ordered (including chips) on a fish an chips menu. The order took excessively long to come considering there was only 2 of us waiting at the time. Went to the next counter, to steers, and they too didn't have the first thing I tried ordered off the menu. - something seems "fishy".
I ordered 2 grilled meals online.on arrival the cashier tells me that they cleaned the grill and they can only fry my meals . I had ordered at 18:29 and drove all the way be disappointed by being Delayed and being forced take a meal I didn't order or leave it . What ckind of service is this ?
Niece calamari strips. Keep it up.
Fishaways stay away. Bought the hake and fishcake combo for R125. Fishcakes were off. Both hake portions were burnt. One of the hakes were raw even after looking burnt meaning that the grills were not clean. Chips were cold, they did not have rice. Just poor food management overall. Called them to them know that the fishcakes were off and hake was burnt. They did apologize but no resolution as their shop was about to close. Review Edit: The Fishaways Franchise corrected the issues and delivered food to my door. Food was fresh and we prepared. Thank you
Pathetic service Eventually left without filling up and went to Komga where the service is great I can understand when a place is busy but at 4:30 in the morning when there is only 2 vehicles and you still don't get service! Unacceptable
Every second time I go there they do something wrong. How difficult can it be to put petrol in a car?
