Poor customer care and an inability to solve problems with no customer feedback. It's sad that such a massive chain store has total disregard for their customers.

True story. I found some printers on special at game which was describe has being demo models. When I got home, I found that there were no cartridges in one of them and it needed 4. I didn’t have the time to go back so I bought the cartridges. Costed me R1200 delivery. When I put the cartridges in and turned it on, it made a continuous grating sound until I turned the power off. I found out that the roller was damaged. I took it back and they booked it for repairs. I asked the guys where the cartridges were and I learnt that the printer was not a demo model and that they gave the cartridges to the customer who returned it with a new printer. About 4 months later I received a call saying that the parts are not available and they will refund me. I’m already more than R1200 down and made three trips to their store in between all of this. I treated the situation kindly by offering them more time to resolve it but they were adamant that it was not repairable. Now the manager, Peter Mackay, fully aware that I’ve bought a set of cartridges, looks at my receipt and asks me, do you always buy things which are on special, to which I should have asked, do you always put broken stuff up for sale and inconvenience your customers. He then asks the lady at the till for the price of a new one. She replies R1600. He then offers me a new one at R1000. I’m no genius mathematician but R1200 for a broken printer, R1200 for new cartridges, and another R1000 Rand does not add up to R1600. Great saving. In between all of this I buy a Lawnmower for R3299 and some other stuff. A few days later I check my invoice and they charged me R3499 so I had to drive back to them. My wife asks me, do you get the impression like we are at fault. I oversee a store myself so I’m very forgiving but this is truly bad service. Otherwise, I really beautify store and some very help staff.

poor customer service, I went there to buy 2 plates gas stove and the fan there was no one to assist, Red alert security tried to call them them for me they were not interested. I can only give you 2 stars for cleaners and the security

I have honestly never encountered such poor service at a shop before. The store is clean and well stocked but I felt like I was asking the staff to go out of their way to give me minor assistance. I understand that things are different during these times but wow, it was awful. I wanted to buy an exercise bike and after waiting for 5 minutes for assistance, I asked the guy that was cycling and on his phone if he knew someone that could assist me... turns out, he did work there (just had a different jacket on). I went to purchase an office chair afterwards and when I had chosen one from the demos, I asked the sales assistant where I could find the actual product so that I could purchase it. He pointed at a shelf underneath the chairs and said "there". It was clear that I was struggling to get the box out as it was really heavy but he really didn't seem to care. I probably would've received better service if I asked a customer for help.

I purchased a tv on Saturday and paid for delivery and it was suppose to be delivered today Monday 30 November I even took a day off at work expecting the delivery but when I call customer care I spoke to a lady who doesn't even speak clear english telling me I am wrong the delivery is not for today but the paperwork says 30 November....This is totally unacceptable I can't take another day off at work to sit the whole day not knowing when my item is going to be delivered!!!
