It is not often in today’s busy, get things done as quickly as possible, world that one still experiences that personal attention required from a dr. Dr Magdie Hartman never looks rushed and gives you time to speak your mind and express what is wrong before getting into the examination. Her patience with children is amazing. Highly recommend Dr Hartman.

Unfortunately it takes a little more than friendly service, being on time and remembering small details to become a good doctor, don’t be fooled by the reviews here! When it comes to the medical field where it actually matters you’ll find that Dr Magdie Hartman is not as good as her reviews, the medication she prescribed my wife made her ten times worse. We believe in second chances and we understand that sometimes even “good doctors”can make mistakes so whilst suffering from excruciating pain my wife returned to Dr Hartman, this time I accompanied my wife, she was in too much pain and couldn’t go on her own. When I told Dr Hartman that the medicine she’d prescribed had a very bad reaction, Hartman took offense and ordered me to keep her doctors room open whilst she carried out her examination on my wife, Hartman’s attitude completely changed this time around, she never owned up to her mistake and without taking my wife’s blood pressure, temperature or heart rate, she prescribed more medicine and NOTHING for pain....later that day we called Dr. Hartman’s office again to tell her that my wife’s situation had worsened, her pain was so bad that she was crying nonstop. Hartman phoned back four hours later and simply said “take her to the hospital there’s nothing I can do for her” So we rushed to the emergency room at Wilgers Hospital, by this time my wife was severely dehydrated and in excruciating pain, luckily the Doctor at Wilgers Hospital was a real expert in the Medical field and sorted out my wife in no time, even though it took 6 drips, blood tests and X-rays to get to the root of the problem, the results were that the medication originally prescribed by Dr Hartman was WRONG! and Dr Hartman caused us lots of time, money, pain, misery and suffering.

Dr Magdie Hartman is an excellent GP. She really cares about her patients and remembers every detail - even detail that is not medical related. If you have an appointment, you can be rest asure that you will see her at that exact time and not waiting for hours at end. This is a to-go-to Doctor and defnitely recommended.
